TENDER NOTICE

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF STORAGE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT [Tender Ref.:  PT_ITD-2023-002]

1.    Background Information 

CMSI is using current enterprise storage for more than 7 years. Due to internal principle, regular rolling updates are required to ensure the normal operation of the system and fulfil the compliance requirements. In order to facilitate the requirements of rapid development and delivery of various IT system projects, there is a need to replace the storage device to ensure that the business is not affected and considering the improvement of overall service performance.

After consideration, CMSI plans to purchase NetApp products to replace current enterprise storage. It allows CMSI to easily manage the hardware inventory and maintenance support and ensure that the hardware can be compatible to existing infrastructure design.

2.    Scope of Services

Scope of services includes the provision of NetApp storage device and SAN switch with 5 years warranty, together with deployment, migration and project management services. The new storage system must support a variety of workloads while being, expandable to meet both current demand and those imposed by new technologies.

3.    Schedule of Tendering 

The tentative schedule of tender is set out below and any change to the schedule will be confirmed by tender document or e-mail to Tenderers.

4.    Expressions of Interest

To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to sign non-disclosure letter as below attached and return to procurement@cmschina.com.hk and quote Tender Ref :  PT_ITD-2023-002.
