TENDER NOTICE

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF NETWORK FIREWALL REPLACEMENT PROJECT

[Tender Ref.:  PT_ITD-2023-001]

1.      Background Information 

CMSI is using Fortinet Network Firewall Model-D for the traffic control and system protect internally, as well as external internet connection. Due to the Model-D is going to be end of support from manufacturer, it is time to replace with newly model to keep carry on their function.

After consideration, CMSI continues to use Fortinet firewall products to replace the existing devices for technical continuity and allow CMSI to easily manage the infrastructure resources.

2.       Scope of Services

Scope of services includes the provision of 11 sets of Fortinet Network Firewall with 5 years warranty and product support services, together with replacement of implementation and migration service. The replacement process not only hardware swapping, but also need to migrate existing policies and necessarily configuration from old box into new one. The migration process should not have or minimal impact to CMSI system which is needed to be confirmed with CMSI technical department.

3.       Schedule of Tendering

The tentative schedule of tender is set out below and any change to the schedule will be confirmed by tender document or e-mail to Tenderers.

4.      Expressions of Interest

To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to sign non-disclosure letter as below attached and return to procurement@cmschina.com.hk and quote Tender Ref :  PT_ITD-2023-001.
