TENDER NOTICE

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF ETF MARKET MAKING SOLUTION

1.    Background Information 

Since 2020, China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited (“CMSHK”, a subsidiary of CMSI), has successfully participated actively in HK ETF market making business. Currently, CMSI’s market-making system relies on the headquarters’ in-house automatic market-making system which has been operating stably. To provide more comprehensive market making services to our company's issuer customers, the Global Markets Department took over the management and development of the market making business last year, significantly increasing the coverage of targets, scales, and issuers’ quantity.

In addition, advised by the headquarters, CMSI is not suitable to rely on remote usage of the headquarters' market making system. Therefore, CMSI is exploring alternative automated system proposals from experienced suppliers. There is no longer to rely on the headquarters' system, the business can be completely independently performed and managed by CMSI, as well as the new system can meet the needs of future business development. 

2.    Scope of Services

The supplier’s system solution should cover the software licensing, deliver as SaaS model, provide implementation service and ongoing support. The proposed solution can enhance and strengthen compliance, risk controlling and monitoring issues, automating order management, risk control, operations, and data integrity from system perspective.

The tenderer should have experience on providing Market Making Solution in past 3 years (project experience with Hong Kong financial institutions and for ETF trading will be an advantage).
